Programs for Swimmers With Synchro Experience



Intermediate Team
- September to June, 12 week trial option
- For ages up to 19 years old
- 2-3 hour practice, 2-3 practices per week (based on age grouping)
- Introduction to competitive synchronized swimming
- Core skills in the fall, routines in the winter, competitions in the spring
- Three local competitions; plus can qualify for regional (New England) and zone (Northeast) competitions
- Emphasis on building confidence, teamwork, foundation skills, and having fun
Advanced Team
(a.k.a. "Age Group")
- September to early July
- For ages up to 19 years old
- 3-5 hour practice, 4-5 practices per week (based on age grouping)
- Progressively more advanced skills, technical elements and routines, and competitions
- Can qualify for national and international competitions
- Can participate in USA Synchro elite level training and competitions, including Rising Star Program, Development Camps and U.S. National Teams
- Equipment List for Athletes 13 and older
Show Team
- December to May
- For ages 13 to 19
- 2-3 hour practice, 2 practices per week
- Recreational and non-competitive track
- Requires at least 2 years of synchro experience
- Focus on improving skills, fitness & friendships
- Performs at Annual Show
- Maximum creativity to create routines, select music, design suits and use props with no competition rules
- Eligible to be student coaches and team captains
Masters Team
- Coming soon!
- For ages 20 and older
- Help us bring Masters back to ANA Synchro!
- Emphasis on teamwork, fitness, friendships and fun
- Bring friends, need 5-8 athletes to start
